Description

Vermiculite is a natural mineral that is also used in agricultural and horticultural applications. It is a type of mineral, that has been subjected to high heat, causing it to expand and become a lightweight, spongy material. The name “vermiculite” comes from the Latin word “vermicularis,” meaning “worm-like,” due to its characteristic worm-like shape when it is heated during the manufacturing process.
